NEW WORLD ORDER 2 by Harold Pinter, Nicosia - Cyprus
After its success in Athens, Fresh Target Theatre transferred the performance in Cyprus with the addition of a new one-act play by Harold Pinter (Precisely - in the form of a short film).
For the Cyprus remount of New World Order Fresh Target Theatre collaborated with Paravan Proactions and together they transformed the underground space of the Vladimiros Kafkarides Cultural Centre in Nicosia into a secret state-security organization.
The play was casted anew from a local pool of actors and received raving reviews from the Cypriot press while selling-out all of its twenty two performances. The lead actor (Antonis Katsaris) was awarded the best male actor award in the National Theatre Awards 2011-12 for his portrayal of Nicholas.
